The HOME BUTTON is next to the REFRESH BUTTON. It has a picture of a little white house on it. When a browser is first started, it will try to go to a particular page, called the Home Page. The Home Page can be on the Internet or on the computer. The Home Page for the Talking Browser is different from the Home Page for other browsers on your computer. With the Talking Browser, you can choose your own home page.
Some people create their own home page and save it to a file on their computer. They put links to their favorite websites there. You can create a simple home page with many word processing programs when you use a "Save as Web Page" feature. These word processing programs can create links (or hyperlinks) using "Insert" features.
For instructions on choosing and setting your Home Page, see the View Menu.
The HOME BUTTON returns the browser to the Home Page.
